PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing oxidation of molten steel in continuous casting facility is provided to prevent reoxidation of molten steel at the melt surface of mold by completely blocking molten steel injected into the mold from tundish from oxygen of the outside. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a shroud(10) which is positioned between tundish and mold of the continuous casting facility, which is formed in a cylindrical structure in such a way that upper and lower parts of the cylindrical structure are opened, on one side surface of which a cutout part(11) that is vertically cutout to a certain width is formed to cut off molten steel injected into the mold from the tundish if necessary; and a driving means comprising driving cylinder(20) which is horizontally installed at one side of the facility, and the tip of piston rod(21) of which is installed at the side surface of the shroud so as to move the shroud to a working position, wherein the apparatus further comprises a sealing means comprising pipe(30), injection hole(31) and supply pipe to seal between the shroud and tundish and the mold, and wherein the apparatus further comprises an open/shut means comprising cover(40), first link member(42) and second link member(43) to selectively open or close the cutout part of the shroud.
