PURPOSE: A small-sized apparatus for making rice cake or dumplings capable of being used even in a small store or at home and making two cakes simultaneously at a time is provided, which reduces fraction defective and the cost of production. CONSTITUTION: This apparatus comprises: an operation controlling part, a conveying unit, an outer coat supplying part for repeating the feeding and stoppage intermittently at the appropriate time; an upper and lower interlocking part for interlocking a rice cake forming part(800) and a bean powder supply part up and down; a bean powder cutting part; and the rice cake forming part comprising an upper and lower interlocking body(40), tongs(87), an elastic device(82) for maintaining a supporting rod(88) in the upper direction and a supporting rod pushing plate(81). The interlocking body comprises tongs and rice cake forming frame(93) and the size of rice cake is controlled by a rice size-controlling device inserted into long grooves constructed on the body.
