PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure correctly and highly accurately the azimuth, the position and the attitude of a moving object or a camera viewpoint, even if a fine ever-changing motion of the moving object is generated corresponding to a photographing environment.;SOLUTION: Positioning sensors are arranged following some geometric pattern on a moving means such as a vehicle. A positioning value measuring part 1 measures positioning value data inputted from each positioning sensor. An attitude measuring part 4 calculates the attitude on the moving means from the positioning value data. A position measuring part 5 calculates the position on the moving means from the positioning value data. A reference azimuth setting part 2 sets the azimuth direction used as a reference such as the true north. An azimuth measuring part 3 calculates the relative azimuth between the positioning value data and the reference azimuth acquired from the reference azimuth setting part. The reference azimuth setting part sets some reference direction or a reference level used as a reference plane, and also determines the azimuth from the reference level, the attitude and position information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
