PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for acquiring high-quality iron hydroxide, iron oxide hydrate or iron oxide from a filtered salt in a recovered diluted acid.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing iron hydroxide, iron oxide hydrate or iron oxide includes the following processes. The filtered salt in a recovered diluted acid is dissolved in water, and the obtained solution is controlled to have pH1, to which a strong base is subsequently added while stirring to adjust the pH of the solution to 2 to 4. The substance produced in this step is separated by a well-known method, and the pH of the residual solution is adjusted to 6 to 8 by adding a strong base and/or an oxidizing agent. The iron hydroxide or iron oxide hydrate produced is separated from the solution, cleaned, dried, and if necessary, dried and/or subjected to ignition treatment to obtain iron oxide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
