PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new treating agent for collagenoses or autoimmune diseases and diagnostic method for the diseases.;SOLUTION: The treating agent for collagenoses or autoimmune diseases contains a phospholipase D (PLD), especially preferably a glycosylphosphatidylinositol anchor-type phospholipase D (GPI-PLD) or its gene. The diagnostic method comprises the determination of the content or activity of GPI-PLD in a specimen and the discrimination of the affection of a collagenosis or an autoimmune disease or the risk of the occurrence of the diseases based on the determination result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
