PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image communication system capable of updating communication history management information for managing information with respect to communication communicated by image communication equipment under the leadership of an information processor and to provide an update method of communication history management information, a program, and a recording medium. PSOLUTION: The method includes: a step S102 of requesting the image communication equipment to transmit information with respect to communication communicated by the image communication equipment to the information processor when the image communication equipment finishes the communication (S101:Yes); a step S202 of transmitting the information with respect to the communication to the information processor when the image communication equipment receives a request with respect to the communication from the information processor (S201: Yes); and a step S104 of updating the communication history management information for managing the information with respect to communication communicated by the image communication equipment when the information processor receives the information with respect to the communication from the image communication equipment (S103: Yes).
