PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seizure prevention bolt, a seizure prevention bolt/nut, and a seizure prevention method capable of suppressing the occurrence of seizure of the bolt.;SOLUTION: The minimum value of the standard outer diameter d of a standard bolt in a tolerance range which is expressed by a nominal "Md" in a standard is expressed by d min, and the minimum value of the standard diameter D of the the bottom of a standard nut in a tolerance range which is standardized correspondingly to the standard bolt is expressed by Dmin. The maximum value d' of the outer diameter meets the requirements of an expression: d'max dmin and Dmin-d'maxΔR, and a seizure prevention relative difference ΔR is a new experimentally defined standard constant for preventing seizure. Thus, the ordering of bolts to a bolt manufacturer is allowed by the nominal of the new standard without presenting a new design drawing or without requiring any difficult explanation. A plant manufacturer can easily obtain bolts within the new tolerance range, and worst event is not induced. Conventional standard nuts can be used without modification, the combination of the conventional nuts and new bolts can be ordered by a table.
