It provides a provision by which users can obtain an active service for the customer, when using an interactive television application. The provision to users can distribute Television Programming through a Television Distribution Facility such as a terminal of a Cable System, a system or a Satellite Broadcasting System.The television can be received in a user's Computer. The user equipment can be a user television equipment, e.g. based on a box which is placed on the television or in a Digital Video Recorder. The user equipment can also be a computer of the user.The user can request help "Help" by pressing a key on a remote control, or by selecting an option screen. The assistance is provided may be related to the type of application for Interactive television that was being used when the aid is requested.
