PURPOSE: A method for fixing a display panel of a chuck plate, and a chuck plate system for executing the same are provided to remove friction of a display panel with a bottom surface of a chuck plate, thereby preventing a scar of the display panel and an error due to light reflection in inspecting vision. CONSTITUTION: A display panel is supported by moving a plurality of pre-aligners(120) formed on an external surface of a base plate(110) to an external direction of the display panel, and moving a plurality of ejectors(130) formed on a bottom surface of the base plate upward. The plurality of ejectors are moved downwards until the display panel becomes separated from external surfaces(114) of the base plate and a plurality of placing pins(116). A solenoid valve is opened to discharge a predetermined pressure of air through an air discharge port and air discharge grooves(115) formed on the external surfaces. In a state that the display panel is floated up by the discharge pressure of the air, the pre-aligners are moved inward for executing an alignment function, and the solenoid valve is closed to stop discharge of the air.
