The lock consists of a technical housing (2) with a front cover (4) fastened to the front surface (12) of the window/door frame, and a rear cover (3) fitted to the opposite surface (11) of the frame and fastened to the technical housing by fixings that are accessible through an aperture (18) in the front surface (12). The fixings consist of studs (42, 43) with ends threaded in opposite directions, engaging with threaded holes in the technical housing and rear cover (3).
