PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a plant body having modified morphology of a flower.;SOLUTION: A chimeric gene of a gene encoding a transcription factor having a TCP domain and a polynucleotide encoding a functional peptide converting an optional transcription factor into a transcriptional repressor is transduced into a plant cell to produce a chimeric protein in which the transcription factor is fused to the functional peptide in the plant cell.
