PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm for speaker the visual effect of which can be much more enhanced by effectively illuminating the entire front part of the diaphragm in the speaker wherein the diaphragm is lighted or blinked by a means such as a change in a sound volume and the light emission is visually recognized from the front side of the diaphragm, and to provide the speaker of the optical diffusion type utilizing the diaphragm.;SOLUTION: Very small hollow pyramids are continuously connected onto the front side of a diaphragm main body 2 made of a light transmitting material to form an optical diffusion part 3, the pyramids are arranged concentrically or in a grating form on the optical diffusion part 3 while the bottom of each pyramid is open to a diaphragm main body 2 to form the diaphragm 2, and the optical diffusion part 3 diffuses the light emitted from a light source provided on a rear side of the diaphragm 2 to light up the entire face of the diaphragm 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
