CURVED DIAPHRAGM SPEAKER AND HYBRID TYPE SPEAKER SYSTEM CURVED DIAPHRAGM USING CURVED DIAPHRAGM SPEAKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high- efficiency and high-quality curved diaphragm speaker having a performance sufficient for both a person with impaired hearing and a person with normal hearing, and a speaker system.SOLUTION: A curved diaphragm 11 made of a piezoelectric film is disposed on the convex side of an arched frame 15 with its pair of opposite side parts being semicylindrical, and a curved plate-like member 12 is disposed on the concave side of the frame with a desirable space making an acoustic space provided between with the curved diaphragm, thereby generating a curved diaphragm speaker 1 which generates a sound by driving the curved diaphragm. In a hybrid type speaker system 10, the curved diaphragm speaker is regarded as a first speaker, and a dynamic speaker unit 21 is mounted inside a casing 8 continuously provided to the first speaker and is regarded as a second speaker 2. The hybrid type speaker system 10 generates a sound by driving both the first speaker and the second speaker combined with each other, on the basis of a single audio signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
