METHOD FOR PRODUCING RECYCLED BACKING FLUX FOR ONE-SIDE SUBMERGED ARC-WELDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a recycled backing flux for one-side submerged arc-welding, which is produced by recycling a used backing flux for one-side submerged arc-welding.;SOLUTION: Firstly, a used backing flux for one-side submerged arc-welding is recovered, and the recovered flux is heated at 400-600°C for 5 minutes. Thereby, coating layers consisting of a thermosetting resin, are removed from powder parts and lump parts of the used flux, and the lump parts become powder. Then, this flux is sieved to remove slag parts thereof. Then, the surface of each powdery particle of the flux consisting of powder only is coated with a thermosetting resin.
