PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a playing reservation method in which a music is searched only by humming a phrase remembered by a user and the user sings the music with a suitable key. SOLUTION: The user does humming or seat an appropriate phrase of a music to be reserved for playing. The voice is inputted into a melody searching means which converts the voice inputted humming and seat into melody piece data reflecting the absolute pitch of the inputted humming and seat. A melody database in which main melody data of the singing sections of many karaoke musics are condensed using music IDs as keys is searched employing the melody piece data, and the music ID of the corresponding karaoke music is extracted as a hit music. Moreover, the code portions among the main melody data are searched ignoring the absolute pitch of the melody piece data that are clues and the music of the main melody data, in which code portions of the more than a reference exist, is set as a hit music and key change value data are generated based on the absolute pitch of the clue melody piece data. When a hit music extracted by the melody extracting means is to be reserved for playing, the music ID and the key change value data are transmitted to the control means of the karaoke device.
