Fungicidal mixture comprises prothioconazole (I) and at least one insecticide (II) comprising fipronil, chlorpyrifos and/or thiamethoxam. An independent claim is also included for control of harmful fungi by treating the fungi or their habitat, or plants, seeds, soil, surfaces, materials or spaces to be kept free of them, with the fungicidal mixture. ACTIVITY : Plant antifungal. In a test, cucumber seedlings were treated with a spray containing 0.25 ppm prothioconazole and 1 ppm fipronil 20 hours before inoculation with a spore suspension of Sphaerotheca fuliginea, which gave 64% control of infection, compared with a calculated value (Colby formula) of 5%.
