The transporting container (1) has a housing (2) with a cavity to hold the objects to be transported. The bottom (3) and top (4) sections of the housing are constructed in such a way that to heighten the standing position of the bottom section in the open state the bottom section is stackable on the top section. The bottom section preferably on the underside has an encompassing protrusion (17), and the top section preferably on the upper side also has an encompassing protrusion (18), whereby both protrusions positive interlock.
