PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eating and drinking type hair growth-promoting agent that can promote the hair growth.;SOLUTION: This gray hair-suppressing composition includes soybean extract and seaweed extract as essential components. In addition to these soybean extract and seaweed extract, an extract of zooplankton is also added to prepare another gray hair-suppressing composition. In another case, an extract of sesame is added to another composition including soybean extract, seaweed extract and an extract of zooplankton to obtain another gray hair suppressing composition. The solution including these composition is fermented with Bacillus natto and the resultant fermented solution is used as a component for the composition. As a seaweed, is used a mixture of Monostroma nitidum, Enteromorphasp and Ulva pertusa in the compositions. Krill britt is used as a zooplankton in these composition.
