PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure an operator to be notified when an error in writing a frequency identification (FR-ID) tag occurs and to enable reading/writing over the RF-ID tag readily as soon as a print command is issued even in cases where the RF-ID tag is embedded in any position relative to a label.;SOLUTION: A printer in which paper having an RF-ID tag in a part of a label is supplied, is provided with an antenna 31 for reading/writing an RF-ID and mounting mechanisms 51-53 capable of changing the mounting positions of this antenna along the travelling direction of the paper.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
