The electrical lighting unit uses modules in which there is a light emitting diode, LED, [16] set into a reflector in form [30]. The reflector can be parabolic or an aspherical in form. The LED is mounted on an elastomer holder [19]. A number of lighting modules may be combined in a housing to provide a broad beam output.
