The material has pins (2), each with a screw body (5) screwed in the vertebrate. A rigid plate (3) has holes (10), receiving the pins, presenting oblong shape to allow distraction of the vertebrae when the pins are engaged across the holes. Each hole has width larger than the width but smaller than the length of an end section (7a). The section supports and locks the plate against the vertebrae in an angular position of the pin.
