The device has a control arm (5) extending along a longitudinal direction and mounted pivotally on a frame (6) by an arm orientation control unit. An engagement unit (8) is mounted in longitudinal translation on the arm using an engagement unit position control unit (9). The two control units cooperate with each other for engaging and controlling a shutter using the engagement unit.
