PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for displaying comments so that the order of reading and interpreting the comments entered with respect to the contents during reproduction is coincident with the order wherein each of objects pointed out by the comments appears in the contents. PSOLUTION: The contents interlocking type comment display method searches comments assigned to a reproduction section of contents during reproduction and cross-referenced to time codes for designating to which point of time of temporal information unique to the contents the comments correspond from a comment database, rearranges the searched comments in order of the time codes cross-referenced to the comments, and displays the comments rearranged in order of the time codes during reproduction of the contents at the corresponding section.
