A method to treat silkworm eggs includes treating the eggs with an aqueous solution of chemical compounds prior to putting thereof for incubation. The treatment is carried out with a 0.001% aqueous solution of mangan-zinc dihydrophosphate hydrate of the composition Mn0,62Zn0,38(H2PO4)2.2H2O.
