FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, technique used in machine for producing of feed from plant material.;SUBSTANCE: pickup press has compression chamber with piston, compression density regulating chamber, and relaxation chamber. Spring-loaded frame is fixed on casing of relaxation chamber so as to embrace it. Upper and lower parts of frame are formed as driving and driven shafts with sharp-pointed sprockets rigidly fixed thereon. Shafts are connected with one another through bushing-and-roller chains. Sprockets of driven shaft knock out and comb out from lower layers of bale leaves, flower heads and other small-sized feed fraction to be further delivered into collector.;EFFECT: reduced losses of small-sized feed fraction during transportation and handling of bales.;2 dwg
