The method involves transmitting a request for automatic connection of personal network units from one personal network unit to another personal network unit, and requesting authorization data (Auth) and/or connection instructions (CP) and/or configuration data (Set) and access classes (AC) for the connection from a database. The former network unit is adjusted and is connected with the latter network unit based on the authorization data and/or connection instructions and/or configuration data and the access classes.
