PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the degree of freedom of arrangement and size of a component arranged on an anti-cylinder head side of an electric component box by arranging the electric component box adjacent to the cylinder head in a cylinder axial direction.;SOLUTION: In a position located adjacent to the cylinder head 22 from a connecting surface P with a cylinder head 22 in a cylinder block 20 in the cylinder axial direction on the exhaust side of an internal combustion engine E mounted on an outboard motor S, an exhaust gas collecting passage 37 with exhaust gas from each combustion chamber collected is arranged in the cylinder head 22, and also an exhaust passage 38 communicating with the exhaust outlet 37e of the exhaust gas collecting passage 37 through the connecting surface P is arranged in the cylinder block 20.
