PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample rate conversion method and an instrument which can convert a signal sampled by a high sampling speed to a signal of a low sampling speed by a simple method without deterioration of the original signal, and output.;SOLUTION: The instrument is composed to perform AD conversion to an input time series signal at an established sampling speed (Sn), generate a series sampling data, perform dispersion Fourier transform for the time series sampling data at a predetermined Fourier transform point (N), perform dispersion inverse Fourier transform at an inverse Fourier transform point (M) different to the Fourier transform point (N), convert the sample rate at a clock speed of Sn×M/N, and output it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
