The present invention relates to a novel pharmaceutical formulation comprising a LTB-4-agent at an alkaline pH effective to stabilize the LTB-4-agent and to provide a formulation with an extended shelf life. The formulation of the present invention has an extended shelf life, preferably at least 24 months.
