The invention concerns a motor vehicle engine gearbox (1) provided with parallel shafts (4, 22, 23, 25) and comprising at least one multidisc oil-driven clutch (2) and an oil pump (10) for controlling the clutch (2), the oil pump (10) is mechanically driven by an axle (16a) hub (16) substantially perpendicular to the shafts (4, 22, 23, 25) of the gearbox (1).
