A language educating system, a language educating method using an image separating scheme, a recording medium, and a language educating material are provided to improve foreign language learning efficiency by firstly studying partial images and then studying an overall image. A database(190) stores an overall image corresponding to a subject and partial images, which are separated according to sentences and phrases. A material extracting unit(120) extracts selected material data from the database, when a subject is selected by a user. An image data retriever(130) retrieves the overall image and the partial image from the material data and outputs the images using an output controller. A voice data retriever(140) outputs the voice data and situation narration data corresponding to the overall image and then outputs the voice data and situation narration data corresponding to the partial image through the output controller. A text data retriever(150) outputs the text data and situation narration data corresponding to the overall image and outputs the text data and situation narration data corresponding to the partial image through the output controller.
