System and Method for Language Training Using Shadowing Mechanism, Recording Medium Therefor

A language learning system and method using a shadowing technique, and a recording medium therefore are provided to classify a learning subject sentence into a unit expression designated suitably for the property of a learning subject language and perform learning while successively or accumulating the unit expression according to the unit expression. Each collected sentence is classified into designated unit expressions to produce a learning material(S101). As language learning is requested from the computer of a leaner, the learning material is extracted(S103). The sentence is outputted by voice(S105). The sentence is visually outputted by performing the shadowing of each unit expression comprising the sentence(S107). The extracted unit expression is outputted by voice(S109). A response signal of the leaner and the outputted voice signal are compared with each other(S111). A language learning system determines whether the leaner succeeds in utterance evaluation(S113). The language learning system checks whether the unit expression outputted by voice is the final unit expression of the sentence(S117).
