The lamination has two layers of a thermoplastic adhesive film made from a softener containing polyvinylacetal and an interposed layer of an electroluminescent material (E). The adhesive films consist of softener containing polyvinyl butyral. The electroluminescent layer is completely embedded in the adhesive films. The electroluminescent layer has electrical conductor for current supply. The rear cover consists of glass, plastic, metal, a glazing combination or an insulating glazing. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production electroluminescent laminated glass.
