PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform improved driving control to a temporary stop so as not to impair quickness of starting of a vehicle while maximally contributing to air quality conversation and economy of natural resources in consideration that the quickness of the starting is required when likely to be collided from behind by a succeeding vehicle though it is meaningful for the air quality conservation and the economy of the natural resources that driving force reduction control is performed during the temporary stop in a traffic jam or traffic light waiting of the vehicle.;SOLUTION: When the vehicle performs the driving force reduction control during the temporary stop in the traffic jam or the traffic light waiting, at least part of the driving force reduction control is released based on prediction of possibility of being collided from behind by the succeeding vehicle to allow escape by the quick starting when likely to be collided from behind.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
