PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating cycle system, reducing the required compression power of a compressor and having no risk of liquid drop erosion. PSOLUTION: This refrigerating cycle system includes: a plurality of compressors 3, 4, 5 for compressing a refrigerant for cooling a medium to be cooled; a condenser 6 for cooling a refrigerant compressed by the plurality of compressors and condensing the same; a liquid receiver 7 for receiving the refrigerant condensed by the condenser; an expansion mechanism 8 for expanding the refrigerant from the liquid receiver and cooling the same; an evaporator 17 for evaporating the refrigerant cooled by the expansion mechanism by the medium to be cooled to generate a refrigerant to be supplied to the plurality of compressors; and intercoolers 15, 16, which are provided between the low pressure side compressors 3, 4 and the high pressure side compressors 4, 5 among the plurality of compressors to generate a refrigerant to be supplied to the high pressure side compressors by cooling the refrigerant from the low pressure side compressors with the refrigerant from the expansion mechanism.
