MULTIPOLAR CONNECTOR AND ITS ASSEMBLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make electric wires combine with a single connector without spending much costs and time and effort of management even in the electric wires mixed with various terminals.;SOLUTION: A receiving side connector 2 is divided into every group of male-side cavities 10-12 with the same size, the receiving side connector 2 is formed by the male-side blocks 7-9 and a cover 4 being approximately same external profile viewed from the inserting direction of an insertion-side connector 3, and projected ridges 13 and grooves 14 are respectively formed on the male-side blocks 7-9. The insertion-side connector 3 is divided into female-side blocks 15-17 having the same external profile with the male-side blocks 7-9 and having projected ridges 21 and grooves 22 for every group of the female-side cavities 7-9 with the same size, and every group of the same size of female terminals and male terminals can be electrically connected each other so that the female-side blocks 15-17 combined in response to the male-side blocks 7-9 are fitted on the cover 4 while the combined male-side blocks 7-9 are fitted into the cover 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
