PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing supporting mechanism which is constituted of the small number of parts and attains the damper function, the stopper function and the back tension function of an opening/closing body. PSOLUTION: The opening/closing supporting mechanism of the opening/closing body 3 capable of opening and closing around a rotary supporting shaft 2 to/from a fixed body 1 is provided with a torsion spring 6 where a pair of arm parts 5 are extended through a coil part 4, and the torsion spring 6 is attached so that one arm part (the arm part on the side of the opening/closing body) 5a is rotatably connected to the opening/closing body 3 and the other arm part (the arm part on the side of the fixed body) 5b is rotatably connected to the fixed body 1 and also the opening/closing body 3 is pressed in an opening direction in a state that the opening/closing body 3 is closed by bordering a natural posture position and the opening/closing body 3 is pressed in a closing direction in a state that the opening/closing body 3 is opened, and a stopper part 7 is provided on which the coil part 4 abuts by the specified opening angle of the opening/closing body 3.
