A method of plastic structure formation of metals at intensive plastic deformation consists in that the billet is subject to reverse, and then direct extrusion and the process is repeated up to obtaining required structure of metal. The metallic billet made in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped with a heightand sides of basisandis installed in the cavity of matrix, which has in the plan the sizesand; moreover the sideof billet is limited by metallic wall of die, and side- with an elastic element, it is upset compressing the elastic element in such a way that the height of billet becomes equal to, and the sides of basis toand, the pressed billet is turned for 90°, is upset once more from the heightto the height, and the process is repeated up to obtaining required structure of metal.
