A method for making preserved food provides for preparing apples, packing into glass containers, closure and sterilizing. Pieces of apples are blanched for 2-3 minutes in 0.1-0.3% solution of citric acid, cooled under running water, then poured by 1±0,2% solution of calcium chloride, kept for 20-25 hours at a temperature of 15-20 °, thereafter the solution is poured off, the apples are washed, packed into jars and poured with apple juice heated up to 80-85 °.
