A progressing cavity pump system including a rotor and a stator having aninner cavity.The rotor is rotationally disposed inside the inner cavity of the stator suchthat rotation of therotor relative to the stator causes material in the inner cavity to be pumpedthrough the stator.The stator includes at least two radially separable stator portions such thatwhen at least one ofthe stator portions is removed, at least one of the rotor or the inner cavityis exposed.
