A power generation system for a vehicle includes a coil former (31), a magnetic rotary table (32), and a speed response assembly (50). The coil former (31) is fixed on the vehicle (10) and has a group of induction coils (33). The magnetic rotary table (32) is arranged shiftably in relation to the group of induction coils (33) and has a magnetic field. A magnetic force line overlap range exists between the magnetic field and the group of induction coils (33). The speed response assembly (50) is driven by a vehicle wheel (12) causing the magnetic rotary table (32) to rotate, so that the magnetic field is cut by the group of inductance coils (33) to generate electric power. When the speed of rotation of the wheel (12) changes, the magnetic rotary table (32) is shifted by the speed response assembly (50) in order to change the magnetic force line overlap range, thereby stabilizing the electric power generated by the group of induction coils (33).
