A method for preparing an anisotropic conductive film is provided to perform convenient coating by one coating, and to improve insulating property, durability and wet-proof property due to dispersion of silica particles of nano size. A method for preparing an anisotropic conductive film comprises a step for dispersing silica particles(2) of nano size generated from sol-gel reaction and conductive particles(3) to an adhesive component containing a resin component and a latent hardener. The size of the conductive particles is 1-8 micron. The alkoxy silane is tetraethylorthosilicate, methyltrimethoxysilane or their combination. The size of the silica particle manufactured from the alkoxy silane is 10-50 nm.
