A side shell block assembling method of a membrane LNG by structuring a longitudinal bulkhead knuckle is provided to weld an inner deck and a top stringer at the flat position by structuring a longitudinal bulkhead knuckle and welding the top stringer in a step forming the inner deck. A side shell block assembling method of a membrane LNG by structuring a longitudinal bulkhead knuckle comprises following steps. A plurality of floor plates and a stringer are welded to the upper side and a longitudinal bulkhead block(12) is formed. The inner deck block is formed by welding the top stringer(11) on the knuckle part. The inner deck block is turned over and is welded to the top deck and a top deck block is formed. The top stringer is positioned at one side of the floor plate of the longitudinal bulkhead block. The declined part of the inner deck and the longitudinal bulkhead plate are welded and a side shell block is formed.
