A nanny robot system and its control method are provided to allow the nanny robot to take care a baby in real time by monitoring the baby situation. In a nanny robot system and its control method, sensor units(10, 30, 50) measure humidity, temperature, an obstacle front of the nanny robot system. A controller(40) determines a direction for autonomic driving based on a state measurement value of the measured obstacle. A traveling unit(60) drives a certain place according to the determined automatic driving.
