The wheelchair has a seat unit (20) formed from a frame pivotably connected with another frame that is pivotably connected with a seat element, such that the seat element and the frames are assembled to a quartered support. The seat element is pivotably connected with a third frame. The seat unit is collapsed by the quartered support, where a collapsing path is formed in a same direction. A wheel set (30) includes two drive wheels, which are arranged at a lower end of the third frame, where the collapsing path runs perpendicularly to an axis of the drive wheels of the wheel set.
