The invention relates to a sustained release form of hydralazine for use in cancer theraphy. Said sustained release form of hydralazine can be used to obtain a constant concentration of the active principle in the blood, thereby enabling the demethylating effect of the hydralazine without producing the hypotensive action thereof, such that the inventive composition can be used in cancer therapy.
