PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink mist recording apparatus using a surface acoustic wave, in which high-density recording is attained by a simple constitution, the surface acoustic wave is controlled in a predetermined condition and high-speed recording is attained.;SOLUTION: The ink mist recording apparatus using the surface acoustic wave is constituted so that an interdigital transducer (IDT) 1 and an upper substrate 2-2, which is arranged on the downstream side of the IDT and on which a common electrode having almost the same width as that of the IDT is arranged, are arranged to be opposed to a lower substrate 2-1, which has almost the same size as that of the upper substrate and on which separated electrode arrays connected to image signal voltage generation elements are arranged in the positions opposed to the common electrode, on the surface of a piezoelectric element material capable of propagating the surface acoustic wave (SAW) 1-1, and flying ink mists 3-1 are jetted from an ink injection port arranged on the downstream side of the lower substrate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
