PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust-proof and waterproof structure of a machine tool capable of effectively separating a drive section such as a spindle and a stationary section such as a machine cover without affecting the drive accuracy of the spindle.;SOLUTION: A waterproof sheet 28 of the machine tool is composed not to be stretched without slack between first and second flanges 32, 34, but to have such a dimension that the waterproof sheet 28 has a folded section 36.
