PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make discontinuous reproduction from an optional position possible even if a sound circuit, which can not make reproduction from an optional position, is used.;SOLUTION: A sound-generating device includes: a channel-controlling part (410) which starts the reproduction of a plurality of channels so that a delay of prescribed time difference may be generated for a prescribed sound; and a volume-setting part (412) which sets the volume of one of the channels to a sensible volume limit or higher and also sets the volumes of the other channels to below the volume limit. When the progress of a sound is discontinuously changed, the sound-generating device switches a channel whose volume is set to the sound limit or higher. A sound-emitting channel is switched to a reproduction position-different channel to jump to an optional reproduction position to perform reproduction. Accordingly, simple rewinding, simple and fast forwarding, consecutive rewinding, and consecutive and fast forwarding each become possible.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
