Efficient verification for coarse / fine programming of non-volatile memory

Non-volatile memory device is programmed by performing a coarse programming process, then run a fine programming process. While verifying the non-volatile memory cells of several for coarse programming process, coarse / fine programming method, verification efficient and allows to verify the non-volatile memory cells other than the fine programming process is facilitated by making use of the scheme. Sinking current, the charge packet measurement, or fine programming step is achieved by using other suitable means.
